Parts you can fit, load and ship, manufactured in house and reviewed by an engineer before anything is printed. Upload a STEP, STL, OBJ or 3MF file and see a price in seconds.
A part larger than the envelope is divided along a joint line, printed as sections and bonded into one piece; the estimator tells you when that applies and the joint line is confirmed during review. Printed, finished and shipped from San Jose, California. We ship within the United States only.
On small, well supported features our parts typically hold about ±0.1 mm. That figure does not scale up with the part: accuracy moves with size, geometry, material and finishing, and a large part or a filled nylon will not hold it. Tell us which dimensions are critical and we will tell you what we can hold on yours. More on tolerances and fit.
Seabright Mechanical manufactures functional FDM components for engineers: prototypes that get loaded and tested, and production parts that ship inside real products. Quantities run from a single part to hundreds, with no tooling to pay for and no minimum run. Engineering reviews the model before the job reaches the machine and stays with it through orientation, printing, finishing and packing.
No sales desk in between. Send the model and the answers come back from engineering: tolerances and fits, materials, print orientation and manufacturability.
You get pricing immediately so you can plan, and a human check before anything is committed to the machine.
Drop in a STEP, STL, OBJ or 3MF file and choose material, quantity and how fast you need it. Your files are read in your browser. The geometry never leaves your machine to produce the estimate.
The estimator prices the part from its actual geometry and your selected options, itemizes every line, and builds a PDF you can put in front of purchasing the same afternoon.
Every submitted estimate is reviewed by an engineer before production. We may adjust price, material or lead time, or suggest a design change, based on geometry, manufacturability and tolerances. You get the final quote before anything is built.
Have a spec sheet, a tricky tolerance or a part that keeps failing in service? Send it over and we will tell you honestly whether FDM is the right answer.
Fused deposition modeling run and finished in house, with orientation, walls and material set by engineering for your load case.
Functional prototypes you can fit, load and test, not display models. Iterate a revision at a time.
Repeatable batches from a handful of parts to hundreds, without tooling cost or minimum-run commitments.
PLA, PETG, PETG ESD, Nylon (PA) and carbon-fiber nylon (PA-CF). Tell us what the part has to survive.
Open a STL, STEP or 3MF file in your browser and cut a section through it to check wall thickness and internal features. No account, no upload.
Small quantities are not an exception here. They are the normal case. There is no tooling to amortize, so a run of three costs what a run of three should cost, and a revision two weeks later does not restart a tooling bill.
Quantity pricing kicks in automatically as the run grows, and the estimator shows you the break points as you change quantity, so you can see for yourself whether it is worth building ten instead of five.
Orders start at a $30 minimum, and a single part prices no lower than $5.
Send the model. If FDM is the wrong process for your part, we will say so. An unhappy part helps nobody.

Have a CAD file ready? The instant estimate tool prices it in seconds. Otherwise describe the part below (key dimensions, tolerances, quantity and what it has to do) and we will come back to you.
We are glad to work under an NDA. If you need one signed before you send geometry, just ask.
